Clergy
The Christus Rex Pilgrimage is reliant upon attendance by wonderful clergy each year who assist with liturgy and the spiritual activities throughout the Pilgrimage.
Free registration for priests and religious
There are no registration fees for priests and religious.
In order to ensure compliance with both civil and canonical obligations, all attending priests and religious must register their attendance on our website. There are no exceptions to this rule, regardless of past attendance.
Religious must provide evidence of canonical recognition of their order on request from the Society to be eligible for free registration.
Lay tertiary members of religious orders are not eligible for free registration.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to walk the whole way?
No, there will be support vehicles for those clergy/religious who are unable to walk the whole way. There are also opportunities to minister to pilgrims if you cannot walk.
How will I celebrate Mass?
Facilities are provided for you to celebrate Mass each day (in addition to the principal Masses).
I’d like to preach, but I don’t have time to prepare lengthy homilies?
Lunch and rest breaks are very short. Homilies preached must be correspondingly brief (ie. no more than 5-10 mins).
What are the accommodation options for clergy?
Camping is encouraged. Alternative arrangements may be available on request.
